Job summary

MathCo, a Chicago-based AI and analytics consultancy, seeks a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer (AI) to embed with client teams and translate business problems into production-ready AI solutions.

You will own technical delivery across discovery, architecture, development, validation, and handoff, guiding adoption and measuring business value for complex enterprise engagements. Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and GenAI expertise are essential.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of experience designing, building, and deploying software, data, analytics, or AI solutions.
• Demonstrated ownership of production systems and business-critical deliverables.
• Experience operating in client-facing or highly collaborative environments.
• Deep expertise in cloud architecture, data platforms, APIs, and front-end technologies.
• Hands-on experience designing and deploying enterprise GenAI solutions.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with client stakeholders to understand objectives, workflows, and decision-making processes.
• Design scalable, secure architectures across cloud, data, AI, and application layers.
• Develop and deploy production-grade AI and analytics solutions using real-world client data.
• Lead discovery workshops, solution reviews, and executive presentations.
• Mentor delivery teams and ensure knowledge transfer and documentation.
• Manage scope, priorities, timelines, and stakeholder expectations.
