Job summary

General Atomics Systems Integration, LLC (GA-SI) seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer to join the Electrical Systems team in Kaysville, UT. The role focuses on embedded controls for aerospace applications, designing high-speed CCAs, and real-time embedded controllers in a DO-254 environment.

You will work with ECAD tools like Altium Designer or Siemens PADS to develop hardware from concept through qualification, collaborating with systems, hardware, and software engineers across projects.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s, master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering or related with progressive hardware development experience.
• Understanding of analog and digital circuits.
• Ability to work independently and in teams; leadership for semi-routine tasks.

Responsibilities

• Design complex CCAs and hardware modules from system requirements.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams of systems, hardware, and software engineers.
• Perform LRU and CCA level design, verification, and qualification for defense/space products.
• Layout and design modern processing tech including micro-processors and FPGAs.
• Ensure designs meet DO-254, RTCA DO-160, MIL-STD-461/810 standards.
• Simulate circuits using MATLAB, LTSpice, and Excel.
