Job summary

Aero is seeking a Captain (PIC) to join our premium flying service. You will lead as a flight captain, ensuring safety, professionalism, and exceptional customer experiences across global routes.

We value anticipation, action planning, and collaboration with the team. Must hold ATP, multi‑engine rating, and comply with DOT and security requirements. Competitive compensation and perks are included.

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication and quick, accurate decision making.
  • Close attention to detail in fast-changing operations.
  • ATP license is required.
  • 1 year 135/121 experience or equivalent.
  • Ability to work varied hours, weekends and holidays.
  • Must obtain required security badges.
  • Pre-employment TSA drug testing is required.
  • Must hold a multi-engine ATP rating and a valid passport.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Ability to work varying hours of the day or night, on weekends and holidays
  • Must be able to secure appropriate airport authority and/or Customs security badges
  • Fulfillment of TSA criminal background checks
  • Must pass DOT drug screening
  • Ability to learn and work with PEDs
  • Current Unrestricted Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) rating (multi-engine)
  • Valid FCC Restricted Radio Telephone Operator Permit
  • Valid First Class Medical Certificate
  • Must have the right to work in the United States
  • Additionally, we require all of our pilots to have a valid passport and documentation allowing for entry into the United States after an international flight.
  • As this is a (DOT) safety-sensitive position as defined in 14 CFR part 120[1] and 49 CFR part 40: All prospective employees are subject to pre-employment testing for the following drugs and their metabolites: Marijuana, Cocaine, Amphetamines, Opioids, and Phencyclidine (PCP)
Benefits & Pay
  • Pay Range: $120,000-$138,000 for the first year - exact salary will depend on experience. Each year on your company anniversary, you will be eligible for an increase
  • Two-Year Anniversary Bonus: $86,000
  • Monthly Stipend: $800 for travel and $200 for wellness
  • Per Diem: $25 for a single turn, $35 for two or more turns, $50 for overnights, and $45 for training
  • Schedule: a minimum of 15 days off per month with many overnights in base
  • Time Off: accrued vacation, sick, and bereavement
  • Benefits: medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and 401k
  • Additional Benefits: Aero-paid Known Crew Member (KCM) and Cockpit Access Security System (CASS)
  • Stock Options: the opportunity to own a piece of Aero
