Job summary

Travelers is seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Operations Technologist I to own day-to-day administration and optimization of Proofpoint within a large hybrid environment. You will focus on email threat prevention, authentication, and mail flow across 50,000+ mailboxes, enabling strong defense-in-depth alongside SOC partners.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in email security engineering, hands-on Proofpoint experience, and familiarity with related tools like Mimecast and Defender for O365.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in cybersecurity, CS, or related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on email security engineering with Proofpoint (TAP, TRAP, Secure Email, or equivalent platforms in large enterprises).
• Experience with quarantine policies and gateway rule management.

Responsibilities

• Administer and optimize Proofpoint deployment across hybrid Exchange.
• Configure mail flow policies and quarantine strategies for 50,000+ mailboxes.
• Manage DKIM, SPF, DMARC records and third-party sender exceptions.
• Triage email threats and tune TAP telemetry with the SOC.
• Collaborate on integrating M365 Defender and other defenses.
