Job summary

Softline Solutions, a Southern California digital marketing agency, seeks a QA Specialist to ensure accuracy and performance of lifecycle and transactional emails. You will review campaigns, flows, and messages to safeguard renderings, personalization, data reliability, and accessibility.

Work with Email Developers, Lifecycle Strategy, Product, Creative, and Engineering to deliver high-quality email experiences and minimize risk across campaigns.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in email QA, marketing operations, or lifecycle marketing.
• Strong understanding of rendering across inboxes and devices.
• Experience testing dynamic content, segmentation rules, and trigger-based automation.
• Familiarity with ESP platforms and email testing tools.
• Strong attention to detail and process discipline.
• Able to communicate clearly with developers and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct QA testing for promotional campaigns, automated flows, and transactional emails before deployment.
• Validate dynamic content, personalization logic, segmentation, and trigger behavior.
• Test rendering across devices, inbox providers, and email clients with QA tools.
• Confirm data mappings and variable population work correctly.
• Review tracking parameters, UTMs, and measurement instrumentation for accuracy.
• Collaborate with Email Developers to resolve logic errors and rendering issues.
• Ensure compliance with brand standards, accessibility, and deliverability best practices.
• Document QA findings and maintain testing checklists and workflows.
• Support post-launch audits to ensure live campaigns and flows function as expected.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering on troubleshooting data discrepancies.
• Continuously refine QA processes to improve speed, accuracy, and scalability.
