Job summary

Sleepyhead in Old Town Scottsdale seeks a hands-on Email & SMS Marketing Manager to own and grow Klaviyo and Postscript channels. Build campaigns, flows, segments, and landing pages, while testing and leveraging AI tools for faster results.

You’ll own content calendars around product launches, promotions, and back-to-school, and collaborate with design and e-commerce teams to align with brand goals.

Qualifications

• 2-3+ years hands-on email and/or SMS marketing experience, preferably in e-commerce/DTC.
• Direct experience with Klaviyo; Postscript a strong plus.
• Proven track record building segments, running tests and improving performance.
• Experience building landing pages (Shopify, page builders or similar).
• Strong analytical skills with campaign and revenue data.
• Comfort using AI tools daily and exploring better uses.
• Design skills in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma or similar.
• Strong writing skills with brand consistency.

Role Overview

We're looking for a hands-on Email & SMS Marketing Manager to own and grow our Klaviyo and Postscript channels. You'll run everything from strategy to execution: building campaigns and flows, sharpening segments, testing constantly, creating landing pages, and using the data to decide what comes next.

This role is for someone who rolls up their sleeves. You're as comfortable building a campaign yourself as you are planning one. You use AI tools to work faster and smarter, you take ownership of results, and you want to grow with a company that's scaling quickly.

What You'll Do

Own the channels

• Plan, build and run email and SMS campaigns in Klaviyo and Postscript
• Build, maintain and optimize flows and automations (welcome, abandoned cart, browse abandonment, post-purchase, winback, etc.)
• Own the email and SMS content calendar around product launches, promotions, seasonal moments and key sales periods, including back-to-school
• Build and refine customer segments and audiences to improve targeting and performance
• Run ongoing A/B tests on subject lines, creative, offers, timing and messaging
• Keep improving list growth, deliverability, engagement and revenue per recipient

Create

• Write copy and produce email and SMS content
• Work with our design team, adapt templates, or design your own assets when needed
• Build and launch landing pages that support campaigns and conversion

Analyze and report

• Track and report on open rates, click-through rates, conversions, revenue and attribution
• Turn performance data into clear insights and next steps
• Spot opportunities to grow the channel and act on them

Use AI and stay sharp

• Use AI tools for copywriting, ideation, segmentation, analysis and workflow efficiency
• Keep up with email, SMS and AI trends and bring new ideas to the team
• Work closely with the design, e-commerce and marketing teams to keep campaigns aligned with brand and business goals

What You Bring

• 2-3+ years of hands-on experience in email and/or SMS marketing, ideally in e-commerce or DTC
• Direct experience running Klaviyo; Postscript experience is a strong plus
• Proven track record of building segments, running tests and improving performance
• Experience building landing pages (Shopify, page builders or similar)
• Strong analytical skills and comfort working with campaign and revenue data
• Comfortable using AI tools in your day-to-day work, and curious about how to use them better
• Design skills in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma or similar
• Strong writing skills and attention to detail, with an eye for brand consistency
• Highly organized, able to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• A strong work ethic: you show up, own your work and get things done
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Design or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Must be comfortable working in-office Monday through Friday in Old Town Scottsdale
