The Gastroenterology Medical Assistant works as part of the care team to provide professional care to patients with conditions such as irritable bowel disease, Crohn’s, colitis, esophageal motility issues, pelvic floor problems, and Hepatitis C. Responsibilities include taking vital signs, reviewing medication lists, and performing video capsule procedures.
