Sky Ranch Academy in Aurora, CO is seeking an English Language Learners (ELL) teacher for a K-9 program. This role focuses on delivering engaging ELD instruction and supporting EL/MLs across content areas using Sheltered Instruction and ELD models.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid state teaching license.
• Preferred CLD Education endorsement; pathway to licensure within 2 years.
• Experience delivering English language development for K-9.

Responsibilities

• Plans and delivers lessons to promote students’ English language development.
• Collaborates with classroom teachers and specialists to ensure EL/MLs across content areas through Sheltered Instruction and ELD program models.
• Administers formative and summative assessments to monitor language progress and ensure student achievement.
• Completes documentation required for compliance with state and federal guidelines.
• Completes daily logs of student services.
• Attends regular Professional Development offerings.
• Be available for afternoon and evening parent-teacher conferences and school events.
• Additional duties as assigned.
