Job summary

ReNEW Schools in Greenwood, IN is seeking an instructional and supervisory support staff member to assist students in ELL. Working under the Building Principal and with classroom staff, you will provide individualized and small-group help while maintaining a safe, respectful, and confidential environment.

Qualifications

• Experience working with students with ELL preferred.
• Strong communication, patience, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively with students, staff, and families.
• Ability to follow instructional plans and work collaboratively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, support, and tutor students with special needs in classroom and school settings
• Provide individualized and small-group instructional support to students requiring additional assistance
• Assist in implementing instructional strategies as directed by certified staff
• Maintain confidentiality and respect students’ rights to privacy at all times
• Participate in staff development, training sessions, and professional learning opportunities
• Support a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Building Principal
