Job summary

Socorro Consolidated Schools is seeking an English Language Learner (ELL) Resource Teacher at Parkview Elementary School to provide specialized instruction to ELL students across K-12. You will collaborate with general education teachers to create personalized learning plans and ensure compliance with educational standards.

This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Education and a New Mexico teaching license. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and the capability to adapt educational strategies to meet diverse student needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of successful classroom teaching experience, preferably with ELL students.
• Strong understanding of state and federal regulations regarding ELL education.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide differentiated English language development instruction to ELL students.
• Collaborate with teachers to implement sheltered instruction strategies.
• Develop Individualized Language Plans for ELL students.
