Responsibilities

• Assist students in the regular classroom.
• Assist students in the resource room.
• Provide first aid when needed.
• Teach and train students to identify educational needs and instruct accordingly.
• Coordinate instructional efforts with teachers.
• Prepare materials, displays, and demonstrations as directed.
• Present subject matter using lectures, discussions, or supervised activities.
• Tutor and assist students individually or in small groups to reinforce concepts.
• Supervise students during meals, breaks, and field activities.
• Distribute materials and collect assignments, tests, and papers.
• Enforce school policies and record grades for homework and tests.
