Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with some classroom experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Meets federal and state educational and testing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing the instructional plan under the teacher's direction.
• Monitor students during lessons and review homework/classwork.
• Help prepare materials and assist with lesson implementation.
• Support teachers with classroom discipline and student engagement.
• Provide tutoring and targeted support for individuals or small groups.
• Prepare lesson materials and ensure supplies are available and used properly.
• Participate in test administration, maintain student folders and records.
