BASIS Austin is seeking an ELL Coordinator for an immediate start. The role provides targeted language instruction and academic support to English Learners while ensuring compliance with state and federal requirements.

The position focuses on direct EL services, LPAC meetings, state testing oversight, and collaboration with core teachers to integrate language support into daily lessons.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid Texas teaching certificate with ESL Supplemental.
• Experience delivering language instruction to English Learners.
• Knowledge of LPAC procedures and state testing requirements for EL students.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide targeted language instruction and academic support to EL students.
• Coordinate LPAC meetings and ensure compliance with state testing requirements.
• Push-in support in core classrooms and collaborate with general education teachers.
• Monitor student progress using formative and summative assessments and communicate results to families.
