Central Rock Gym in Watertown, MA is seeking a Head Coach to lead the development and execution of its competitive youth climbing program. You will foster a fun, challenging, and growth-oriented environment for young athletes while upholding CRG's team pillars of community, grit, and growth.

You will provide high-quality coaching, create structured training plans, support progression, prepare athletes for competition, and mentor the coaching staff, collaborating with the Youth Programs Director

Formación

Previous experience coaching youth climbers.
Strong understanding of climbing technique, movement analysis, training methodology, and athlete development.
Strong leadership and mentorship skills.
Excellent in-person and remote communication with athletes, parents, and staff.
Familiarity with USA Climbing rules and competition pathways.

Responsabilidades

Regularly lead competitive team practices with confidence and professionalism.
Develop and implement structured training plans for different ages and levels.
Coach and develop athletes across climbing disciplines, focusing on technique, movement, strength, and strategy.
Evaluate athlete progress and provide constructive feedback.
Prepare athletes for local, regional, divisional, and national competitions.
