Job summary

Southpaw Yacht Sales is seeking an experienced broker for Florida East Coast and West Coast markets. You will actively prospect buyers and sellers, nurture client relationships, and manage listings to close yacht sales.

You will work with our in-house closing team to handle contracts and paperwork while delivering exceptional service from inquiry to final transaction, achieving repeat business and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Marine industry experience required (3–5 years).
• Strong knowledge of yachts, boats and marine equipment.
• Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
• Proficient in digital marketing and social media.
• Sales/brokerage experience with account development.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Organized, self-disciplined and motivated.

Responsibilities

• Actively prospect and identify buyers and sellers.
• Build and maintain relationships to understand client needs and budgets.
• Acquire new yacht listings via networking and prospecting.
• Maintain knowledge of current inventory.
• Stay updated on yacht market trends, pricing and developments.
• Arrange and conduct yacht showings for buyers.
• Negotiate prices and terms with buyers and sellers.
• Coordinate with closing team on documents and legal requirements.
• Provide exceptional customer service throughout the process.
• Manage the full sales process from inquiry to closing.
• Respond promptly with expert advice and tailored solutions.
• Conduct follow-ups to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
