Morgan & Morgan is seeking an Attorney to join our Workers Compensation team in our growing Cincinnati or Columbus Ohio office. The Attorney will handle a heavy and complex caseload from pre-litigation through trial, benefiting from the firm’s extensive resources and leading marketing position.

Our Workers Compensation team values strong writing and oral advocacy, client service, and the ability to manage many cases simultaneously while delivering excellent outcomes for clients.

Qualifications

• Law degree from a fully accredited law school.
• Active OH State Bar member; multiple state licenses preferred, not required.
• Minimum 1+ year of workers compensation experience.
• Experience on wage and hour claims is a plus.
• Ability to manage a high volume of cases through full life cycle.
• Excellent client service and communication skills.
• Self-starter driven by long-term career goals.
• Superior writing and oral advocacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day handling of cases from pre-litigation to resolution.
• Drafting and filing of litigation documents including pleadings and discovery.
• Guide clients through the case process.
• Interact with expert witnesses, conferences, and affidavits.
• Attend depositions, mediations, hearings, and trial preparation.
