Job summary

Thunder Valley Casino Resort seeks a dedicated VIP Driver to provide safe, confidential, and professional transportation for high-profile guests. You will ensure comfort, assist with luggage and ADA needs, and maintain superior guest service across every trip.

The role emphasizes safe driving, knowledge of local routes, and strict adherence to company standards while supporting peak periods with golf-cart shuttle duties. Must pass DOT screenings and obtain Tribal Gaming License.

Qualifications

• One (1) year of experience as a professional driver preferred.
• Ability to operate a vehicle safely.
• Excellent interpersonal and guest service skills.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Effective written and verbal communication with guests, team members and management.
• Clean driving record with no serious violations; insurable to drive company vehicles.
• Ability to pass a random drug and alcohol test per DOT regulations.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Ability to obtain UAIC Tribal Gaming License.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, comfortable transportation to Thunder Valley Casino Resort VIPs.
• Deliver excellent guest service aligned with AAA Four Diamond standards.
• Transport guests between property entrances and parking areas, including golf-cart shuttling during peak periods.
• Use GPS/maps to determine shortest, safest routes.
• Coordinate with Transportation Dispatch and follow guidance for unusual situations.
• Assist guests with luggage when needed.
• Assist ADA guests with special needs (e.g., wheelchairs, doors).
• Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections for safety.
• Keep interior and exterior of vehicle clean and ready for use.
• Complete pre- and post-trip forms per DOT regulations.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of vehicle operation and resort property.
• Ensure safety and satisfaction of guests at all times.
• Drive with alertness and obey traffic laws.
• Remain courteous to guests and team members at all times.
• Lock vehicles after each run; do not leave passengers unattended.
• Maintain confidentiality of conversations with guests.
