Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health in Northern New Jersey seeks a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Upper Extremity Orthopedic Surgeon to join our orthopedic service line. The role focuses on shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand conditions, offering opportunities to treat diverse cases in a high-volume, collaborative environment.

Candidates should be BC/BE in Orthopedic Surgery, fellowship in Upper Extremity/Hand/Shoulder preferred, and NJ licensed or eligible.

Qualifications

• BC/BE in Orthopedic Surgery
• Fellowship training in Upper Extremity, Hand & Wrist, Shoulder & Elbow or related subspecialty preferred
• New Jersey licensed or eligible for licensure
• Strong clinical and surgical skills in upper extremity conditions
• Interest in clinical research and academic collaboration is a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care for shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand conditions
• Diagnosis, surgical and non-surgical management, perioperative care and follow-up
• Collaborate with physical and occupational therapy, pain management and rehabilitation specialists
• Participate in clinical research and educational activities
