Job summary

APAC-AL, Inc., part of CRH’s South Central Division, is seeking a skilled truck driver for a full-time CDL position. The role involves operating a Tri-axle or Single/Multi Axle Dump Truck to transport construction materials to and from jobsites, with pre/post trip inspections and routine maintenance.

Candidates must have a Commercial Driver's License with the required endorsements and prior dump truck experience in construction. Local candidates will be given special consideration.

Qualifications

• Three years of related driving experience.
• Commercial Driver's License with required endorsements.
• Ability to perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Knowledge of different types and sizes of aggregates.
• Ability to lift/move up to 30 lbs and operate heavy vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Tri-axle or Dump Truck safely and efficiently.
• Perform truck inspections including oil, water, brakes, tires, lights, and safety equipment.
• Drive to jobsite and position truck for loading; assist with loading as needed.
• Communicate effectively and be a team player.
