Job summary

Disneyland Resort in Southern California seeks a dedicated Pruner to maintain the Resort's urban forest under the direction of an Arboricultural Manager. The role includes climbing, pruning, planting, and routine tree care to preserve guest safety and park aesthetics.

Candidates must meet ISA/ANSI standards, hold a WC-CTW or be able to obtain it, have a valid CA driver's license, and be available for 1st–3rd shifts, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience performing climbing, pruning and tree care per ISA/ANSI Z133.1 and Disney standards.
• Valid California Driver’s License.
• WC-CTW certification or ability to obtain it.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Willing to work varied shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Enter trees safely up to 150 feet and climb per guidelines.
• Prune young and mature trees to ISA/ANSI standards and Disney Show standards.
• Care for young trees: planting, transplanting, staking and ground work.
• Perform rigging, removals and ground operations under ISA/ANSI guidelines.
• Respond to emergencies and be available on-call 24/7.
