Blast Cleaning Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Traveling Millwright/Field Service Technician based in Pittsburgh, PA, to install, maintain, and repair industrial machinery across client sites nationwide.

The role emphasizes hands-on troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and precise installations to maximize equipment uptime. The position requires a mechanical background, the ability to travel, and a focus on safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited millwright apprenticeship or equivalent technical training.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a millwright or field service technician in an industrial setting.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Ability to travel extensively and work in various industrial environments, including manufacturing plants and construction sites.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Travel to client locations across the United States to perform installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial machinery and mechanical systems.
• Diagnose mechanical failures and troubleshoot equipment issues using manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks to ensure optimal equipment performance and reduce downtime.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to communicate status updates and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate service records, document repairs and parts used, and comply with safety regulations and company policies.
