Battelle Memorial Institute is seeking a Health Research and Analytics Strength and Conditioning Specialist to support U.S. SOF under POTFF.

This full-time role emphasizes advancing physical performance, injury prevention, and research-driven conditioning in a mission-driven environment. The position requires NSCA CSCS or CSCCA certification, a relevant bachelor’s degree, and at least five years of program leadership experience, plus CPR/AED certification and clearance eligibility.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree related to exercise science, health science, or physical education.
• NSCA CSCS or CSCCA certification required.
• At least five years of performance program coordination experience.
• CPR/AED certification required.
• Physically capable to perform and demonstrate exercises.
• Lift and move loads up to 25 kg.
• Must be able to obtain U.S. government security clearance.

Aufgaben

• Establish strength and conditioning protocols to enhance SOF personnel performance.
• Provide services supporting POTFF HP program for SOF personnel.
• Design, evaluate, and document training effects under HP leadership.
• Coordinate training with HP staff for safe return to training after injuries.
• Develop training for TDY/TAD or deployed personnel.
• Instruct exercises and injury prevention techniques.
• Refer medical concerns to appropriate providers.

Kenntnisse

Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science
