Allied Universal is seeking an Elite Security Officer for the Technology Building in Austin, TX. This full-time, armed role involves monitoring the site, managing access control, patrolling spaces, and delivering courteous customer service to clients, visitors, and employees in a technology-focused location.

The position requires a minimum of three years in Military Police, Corrections, or Armed Security, a Texas Level III Armed Certification, and being at least 21 for armed roles.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of experience as Military Police, Corrections Officer, or Armed Security Officer.
• Type a minimum of 40 words per minute.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background check and drug screen as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security procedures and site policies, including emergency response when needed.
• Respond to incidents and access concerns calmly, following site protocols and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of offices, production spaces, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and security systems; maintain logs and reports.
• Communicate clearly with employees, contractors, and visitors to deter unauthorized access.

As a Elite Security Officer Technology Building in Austin, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Armed Security Professional with Allied Universal at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, manage access control, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology and media location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of office areas, production spaces, parking areas, entrances, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and security-related systems in accordance with site policies; maintain accurate logs and incident reports.
• Support a professional workplace environment by communicating clearly with employees, contractors, and visitors while helping to deter unauthorized access.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least three years of experience as a Military Police Officer, Corrections Officer, or Armed Security Officer, or be a certified law enforcement graduate.
• Type a minimum of 40 words per minute.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
