As a Elite Security Officer Full Time Morning Shift in Austin, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Armed Security Officer in a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and delivery personnel in accordance with site-specific protocols; assist with directing guests and reporting access concerns.
• Respond to incidents, service requests, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of business areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or policy violations.
• Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, contractors, and local responders while supporting a welcoming and orderly environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least three years of experience as a Military Police Officer, Corrections Officer, or armed security-related professional, or be a certified law enforcement graduate.
• Type a minimum of 40 words per minute.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Have alarm panel experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
