Allied Universal in Odessa, TX, is seeking an Elite Security Officer Shop Driver for a part-time par t-time position at our retail sites. The role focuses on customer service, visible security presence, and responsive patrols to deter incidents.

Compensation is $25.00 per hour with daytime and evening shifts. The position requires a valid Texas Level III Armed Certification, a HS diploma or equivalent, and successful background/drug screening per policy.

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Maintain professional readiness and accountability for assigned equipment in accordance with applicable laws, site procedures, and Allied Universal policies.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately and promptly in required reports.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Maintain professional readiness and accountability for assigned equipment in accordance with applicable laws, site procedures, and Allied Universal policies.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately and promptly in required reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess at least three years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or at least five years of armed security experience.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
