Qualifications

• Must possess a Texas Level III Armed Certification.
• Be at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background checks and drug screening will be conducted as a condition of employment.

• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations calmly and coordinate with leadership and emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols in retail areas, parking lots, and surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity, reporting suspicious behavior and policy violations.
• Complete accurate incident and patrol reports per site procedures.

Job Description

As a Elite Security Officer Full Time Afternoon Shift in Killeen, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic retail location. You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security‑related incidents, respond to situations, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. This driving role requires a valid driver's license and Level III Armed Certification. Our agile, reliable, and innovative team puts people first, works together, and acts with integrity.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $26.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue 03:30 PM - 11:30 PM
• Fri 03:30 PM - 11:30 PM
• Sat 03:30 PM - 11:30 PM
• Sun 03:30 PM - 11:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and store associates by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, including coordinating with store leadership and emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout retail sales areas, receiving areas, parking lots, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, hazards, and other security‑related concerns.
• Complete accurate reports and maintain required documentation for incidents, patrols, and security‑related activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or at least 5 years of armed security experience.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
