Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an elite armed security officer for a full-time driver site assessment role in Austin, TX. You will patrol, deter incidents, and respond to security concerns while delivering excellent customer service in a retail/mall setting. A valid driver’s license and Level III Armed Certification are required.

Shifts are scheduled across days and nights; pay is $26.00 per hour. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma, 21+ years old, background check, and drug

• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including contacting emergency services and following established protocols when needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout retail and mall common areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, observe visitor and vendor activity, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and security-related concerns to site leadership.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation for incidents, patrols, daily activities, and policy violations.

As a Elite Armed Security Officer Full Time Driver Site Assessment in Austin, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer in a retail and mall location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service. This driving post requires a valid driver's license and Level III Armed Certification. What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or 5 or more years of armed security-related experience.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
