Job summary

World Equestrian Center – Wilmington is seeking a Security Guard to protect and monitor facilities during a full-time, on-site role. You will work with a team to enforce safety protocols, monitor access points, and respond to incidents during events and daily operations.

Responsibilities include patrolling, operating surveillance and access systems, completing incident reports, and coordinating with staff and management. A clean driving record and ability to pass background checks are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass background and drug screening.
• Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
• Satisfactory driving record (Required to operate company owned vehicles).
• Professional demeanor and appearance.
• High level of integrity/Strong work ethic.
• Attention to detail.
• CCTV and Access control experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor video surveillance and access control systems.
• Communicate pertinent information to staff, security personnel and management.
• Provide courteous, respectful interactions with guests.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and drive company-owned vehicles as needed.
• Conduct extended foot patrols and monitor grounds.
• Assist outlets with cash control activities including deposits and change orders.
• Prepare daily shift activity reports and document incidents and maintenance matters.
• Handle emergency responses in accordance with established procedures.
• Perform other duties assigned by management.
