Job summary

Omni Barton Creek Resort & Spa in the Texas Hill Country near Austin seeks a friendly Retail Sales Agent to deliver outstanding guest service, maintain Cedar Soul with appealing displays, and create a positive atmosphere for guests and associates. You will greet guests by name when possible, handle phone inquiries, operate the Micros POS, and help with inventory and gift shop presentation.

Knowledge of the resort and surrounding area, weekend availability, and a high school diploma are required;

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Must be able to work weekends.
• Knowledge of property and surrounding area.

Responsibilities

• Enthusiastic greeting of guests (by name if possible).
• Answer phones in a courteous and professional manner.
• Utilize the Micros POS system (Sales of Merchandise).
• Maintain working knowledge of the hotel and items available to guests.
• Assist in presentation of the Falls City Market.
• Price, display, and store new merchandise efficiently.
• Assist Retail Manager with any inventory counts.
• Maintain and balance daily cash register.
• Display conduct in an appropriate manner at all times in accordance with the Omni Hotel.
