Job summary

Shepherd Center is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to treat adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients. You will set goals with patients and families, implement comprehensive plans of care, and collaborate with the Shepherd Center team to support recovery through rehab services.

Requirements include a degree in physical therapy, GA license, and BLS. Two years of recent clinical experience are preferred; strong communication and time management are essential.

Qualifications

• A degree from an accredited program in physical therapy.
• Licensed to practice in the state of Georgia.
• BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patient’s physical and functional status including strength, motor skills, and ADLs.
• Develops and implements treatment plans; reassesses regularly.
• Delivers patient and family training to ensure proper care.
• Orders equipment and coordinates with care teams and payers as needed.
• Documents observations clearly and timely according to policy.
• Maintains safety, complies with regulatory standards, and supports program teams.
