Job summary

AION is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform routine maintenance, repairs, and preventative tasks for residential units and building systems in Maryland. The role supports safe operations by addressing service requests promptly and assisting with PM programs, while ensuring compliance with life-safety standards.

Qualifications include a high school diploma (or equivalent), 1–3 years of maintenance experience, and basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry knowledge.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of maintenance or facilities experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repairs.
• Trade School Certification a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repair work orders for residential units, common areas, and building systems.
• Respond to service requests and participate in on-call rotations as required.
• Assist with scheduled preventive maintenance inspections and services.
• Document completed work and inspection findings in the maintenance system.
• Ensure safety and life-safety compliance with policies and procedures.
