Job summary

Fox Theatre in Atlanta is seeking a qualified Private Event Supervisor to oversee day-of event execution and guest relations for private events. The role involves coordinating room setups, floor plans, and coordinating with multiple vendors to ensure flawless presentation of services and spaces.

The ideal candidate will have experience in event management, strong customer service, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience in event management or coordination required.
• Strong guest or client service skills and clear communication.
• Ability to multi-task and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic knowledge of building safety standards and protocol.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-of event execution and guest relations, including room setup, floor plans, housekeeping, maintenance, temperature control, A/V and lighting, kitchen readiness, security, and staff.
• Coordinate multi-vendor load-in/load-out across entrances (A/V, decor, caterers, entertainment, etc.).
• Serve as Fox Theatre representative to clients, vendors, and guests.
• Coordinate emergency response with police, security, and life-safety teams, including alarm systems, evacuation, and compliance with codes.
• Perform other duties as directed.
