The role requires excellent customer service, reliability, and ability to work varied hours in a busy retail grooming salon. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of grooming experience, owns grooming tools or is willing to purchase them, and can read, write, and count accurately.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-year experience grooming/styling pets.
• Comfortable working with dogs and cats.
• Must provide own tools (clippers, blades, shears) or be willing to purchase required tools.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service.

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work varied hours, including nights, weekends and overtime as needed.
• Answer phone and schedule appointments.
• Assist in generating business by calling customers and scheduling reminders.
• Book appointments and greet pets on arrival.
• Complete grooming checklists and forms accurately.
• Adhere to safety rules and follow grooming procedures.
• Clip dogs per pattern and safely manage live animals.
