Job summary

NVA Pet Resorts in Norcross, GA is seeking a Professional Pet Groomer to join our Pet Spa Team on a part-time basis. You will groom dogs to breed standards, discuss grooming goals with clients, and suggest products to maintain coat health.

Qualifications

• 2+ years professional grooming experience.
• Knowledge of breed standards, coat types, and grooming techniques.
• Strong scissoring and finishing skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Passion for animal care and safe handling practices.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team.
• Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform professional grooming services for dogs, including breed-specific and pet trims.
• Conduct client consultations to understand grooming goals and expectations.
• Recommend services and products that support pet health and coat maintenance.
• Monitor pets for health concerns and communicate observations to leaders and pet parents.
• Maintain grooming equipment and a clean, safe workspace.
• Provide exceptional customer service before, during, and after each appointment.
• Follow all company policies and procedures including safety and animal handling standards.
• Promote and engage in opportunities to grow sales to help achieve revenue targets and other salon metrics.
• Attend required team meetings and trainings.
• Other grooming/ salon duties as assigned by site leader.
