Job summary

NVA Pet Resorts is seeking a Professional Pet Groomer to join our Pet Spa team. You will perform breed-specific grooming, consult with clients, and promote services to support pet health in a safety-first environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional grooming experience preferred.
• Knowledge of breed standards, coat types, and grooming techniques.
• Strong scissoring and finishing skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Passion for animal care and safe, gentle handling practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform professional grooming services for dogs, including breed-specific and pet trims.
• Conduct client consultations to understand grooming goals and expectations.
• Recommend services and products supporting pet health and coat maintenance.
• Monitor pets for health concerns and communicate observations to team leaders and pet parents.
• Maintain grooming equipment and a clean, safe workspace.
• Provide exceptional customer service before, during, and after each appointment.
• Follow all company policies and procedures including safety and animal handling standards.
• Grow sales to help achieve revenue targets and salon metrics.
• Attend required team meetings and trainings.
• Other grooming/salon duties as assigned by site leader.
