Job summary

Equinox is seeking a passionate Personal Trainer in the United States (California) to empower clients through personalized programs and expert guidance. Under two managers, you will design, educate, and grow your personal training practice while upholding safety and exceptional client service.

You will build a robust client base, manage scheduling, and promote programs with a commitment to CEU growth and career progression within a premier fitness community.

Qualifications

• Current Nationally recognized Personal Training certification or a bachelor's degree in the field.
• Certification reimbursement opportunity for non-PT certified applicants.
• Eligible for opportunities to start at a higher Tier level based on experience and education.
• Current CPR/AED certification (Certification opportunities available for non-certified applicants).
• Possess passion, ambition, drive, and knowledge regarding fitness.
• Ability to work in-person during weekdays/weekends.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Effective time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain an active client base.
• Manage and maintain an accurate schedule, inclusive of client appointments and open availability.
• Market and sell personal training programs to members and/or clients.
• Maintain knowledge of all club services, programs, and products.
• Execute fitness assessments, guided workouts, and other services for members.
• Interact with members to enhance workouts and club experience.
• Create and coach personalized programs for in-person and virtual clients.
• Maintain an organized and safe fitness floor during shifts.
