Job summary

CHRISTUS Health is seeking a Paramedic Emergency Medical Services provider responsible for delivering advanced life support and on-site patient care. You will operate an ALS ambulance and ensure equipment readiness, sanitation, and vehicle maintenance.

You will respond to emergencies, coordinate with physicians to develop care plans, and lead a responder team through triage, treatment, and transport to facilities. OSHA and local regulations compliance is required, with ongoing training as needed.

Responsibilities

• Respond to life-threatening and non-emergency calls.
• Coordinate response with physicians to plan care.
• Lead a team to triage, plan treatment, and prepare for transport.
• Ensure EMS equipment and vehicles are functional and stocked.
• Assist in station cleaning and coordination with other personnel.
• Document patient care and complete required paperwork.
• Handle hazardous materials and disposal per OSHA standards.
• Respond to multi-casualty incidents and disasters with medical oversight.
