Reports to the Global Security Protective Services Supervisor and travels to multiple southeast Michigan locations. Candidates should have a protective services or law enforcement background and be able to perform duties across diverse shifts, including weekends

Qualifications

• Experience in protective services or law enforcement preferred.
• Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and discretion.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Preserve order and enforce security regulations at the worksite.
• Respond to emergencies including active shooter, medical situations, and threats.
• Ensure compliance with GM Global Security Manual and SOPs.
• Conduct foot and vehicle patrols to safeguard the worksite.
• Observe, report, and respond to incidents at assigned worksites.
• Protect GM property, tenants, and site visitors.
• Control access and prevent unauthorized entry.
• Monitor entrances/exits and manage movement of people and vehicles.
• Secure incident scenes and preserve evidence as required.
• Prepare incident reports and daily logs.
• Monitor CCTV and alarm systems.
• Maintain a courteous and professional demeanor.
