Job summary

Premier Security Solutions is seeking a dependable Security Officer to safeguard industrial sites in the Shelby Township area. The role is part-time, hourly, and non-exempt, involving on-site patrols, reporting, and safety enforcement.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and strong communication, integrity, and teamwork skills. Local travel may be required, with weekend shifts and event coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ongoing training/education classes provided by Premier Security Solutions, relevant to position.
• Law enforcement, public safety, or military experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Keep premises safe and secure.
• Perform regular walks around the assigned perimeter.
• Move blocker vehicles as needed.
• Communicate effectively via assigned radio.
• Identify and correct hazards and safety issues.
• Follow gate, lighting, and visitor check-in procedures.
• Monitor location with attentiveness to surroundings.
• Provide detailed information to authorities as needed.
• No use of force; report and secure only.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor/management.
