Represent employers in complex disputes, advise on terminations and policy issues, and collaborate across practices to support corporate transactions and risk management. Office-based in New York.

Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record.
• Active New York Bar in good standing.
• Two years of substantive employment-law litigation experience on the management side.
• Experience handling disputes involving non-compete agreements, trade secrets, and employee solicitation.
• Background advising clients on terminations, leaves of absence, internal investigations, reductions in force, and employment policies.
• Ability to advise on employment issues in mergers and acquisitions and other corporate transactions.
• Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to in-person collaboration in the New York office.

Responsibilities

• Represent employers in complex employment disputes including trade secret, non-compete, and employment mobility matters.
• Advise technology and life sciences clients on terminations, leaves of absence, reductions in force, policy review and creation.
• Provide day-to-day counseling to fast-growing companies on compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
• Manage all aspects of litigation from start to finish, collaborating with attorneys across practices to deliver comprehensive client support.
• Advise clients on employment aspects of corporate transactions and restructuring, including M&A.
• Conduct internal investigations and provide guidance on risk management strategies.
