Lending Hand Mortgage in Madison, TN is seeking an experienced Mortgage Closer to join our operations team. You will manage loans from final underwriting approval through funding, ensuring closings are accurate, compliant, and completed on time.

The role emphasizes preparation of Closing Disclosures, balancing with settlement agents and title companies, and strict adherence to investor, agency, federal, and state requirements. A detail-oriented professional thrives in our fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of residential mortgage closing experience.
• Thorough knowledge of Conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, and Jumbo products.
• Strong understanding of TRID, RESPA, TILA, CFPB regulations.
• Experience preparing and reviewing Closing Disclosures and settlement statements.
• Ability to independently balance loan files and resolve closing discrepancies.
• Proficiency with LO s platforms (ARIVE, Encompass, LendingPad).

Responsibilities

• Review loan files to ensure underwriting conditions are met before closing.
• Prepare and generate Closing Disclosures (CDs) compliant with TRID.
• Balance loan transactions with title companies, settlement agents, and lenders.
• Ensure fees, credits, escrows, taxes, insurance, and cash-to-close are accurate.
• Prepare complete closing packages and coordinate funding.
• Coordinate closing schedules with borrowers, title companies, attorneys and lenders.
• Submit funding authorization requests and monitor funding.
• Maintain detailed file notes in the loan system and ensure regulatory timing.
