Hammer & Nails - Capitol Hill is seeking skilled barbers, cosmetologists, or hairstylists for full-time and part-time roles in Denver. The role focuses on precision haircuts, advanced grooming services, and high‑end customer experiences.

We value warm, professional teammates with a growth mindset who deliver immaculate care and consistently uphold brand standards in a premium shop setting. Evening/weekend availability and active state licensure are required.

Qualifications

• Active, valid Colorado Barber, Cosmetology, or Hairstylist license in good standing (Colorado DORA).
• Reliable transportation to the shop and ability to work evenings and weekends.
• Minimum of 2 years of active, professional barber/stylist experience, preferably high-end grooming.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality grooming services including precision cuts, scalp treatments, beard shaping, straight-razor lines, and traditional shaves tailored to client preferences.
• Conduct detailed client consultations to understand grooming profiles and recommend repeat scheduling.
• Educate patrons on grooming routines and retail products; drive recurring club memberships.
• Maintain a spotless workstation; ensure tool sterilization and infection-control per brand/state requirements.
• Stock and organize station before shifts; assist with shop operations to keep the environment flawless.
• Continue education through training modules and product promotions to advance technical mastery.
• Wear and maintain shop apparel to represent the brand’s upscale environment.
