Job summary

The Coral Casino Beach & Cabana Club in Santa Barbara is seeking a friendly Member Services Agent to serve as the first point of contact for Members and guests. You will warmly greet arrivals, handle inquiries and reservations, and coordinate communication across departments to ensure an exceptional guest experience.

This role emphasizes hospitality, professionalism, and attention to detail, with responsibilities spanning front desk duties, guest services, and administrative tasks.

Qualifications

• Two-year college degree or at least two years of relevant hospitality or customer service experience.
• Previous experience in roles such as host/hostess, front desk agent, receptionist, retail associate, or tour operator preferred.
• CPR certified (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Greet Members and guests by name with warmth and professionalism.
• Manage front desk operations, including answering phones, responding to emails, responding to messages from our app and assisting with in-person inquiries.
• Maintain accurate Member profiles, including special dates (birthdays, anniversaries) and preferences to enhance personalized service.
• Provide accurate Club information, including hours of operation, upcoming events, fitness classes, and amenities.
• Assist with Member and guest reservations for cabanas, dining, racquets, fitness, and special events.
• Maintain the reception area with a focus on cleanliness, visual appeal, and appropriate ambiance (music, monitors, etc.).
• Process merchandise sales and gift-wrapping requests; fulfill mobile and online orders.
• Track and update guest visits and Member charges as needed.
• Accept and relay messages for Members and staff; operate the telephone switchboard and direct calls appropriately.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure Member requests and feedback are communicated and resolved promptly.
• Handle locker rentals and processing rental requests.
• Monitor and report unauthorized visitors; help enforce Club rules and policies as needed.
• Keep reception supply inventory stocked and organized.
• Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, word processing, and data entry.
• Support the Operations Manager and General Manager with assigned duties.
• Attend all required meetings and trainings.
• Uphold all Club policies, procedures, and service standards.
• Promote a safe and supportive work environment across all areas.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
