Job summary

Wedbush Securities in New York City seeks an elite Managing Director, Sales Trader to own and grow a broad Generalist franchise across Technology, Healthcare, Financials, Real Estate, and more. You will work with top buy-side clients, analysts, and trading desks to deliver superior execution and strategic market intelligence.

Qualifications

10+ years of sell-side equity sales trading experience.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field.
Active Series 7, 63 and 55 licenses.
Proven roster of institutional buy-side clients with broad sector interests.

Responsibilities

Drive liquidity sourcing by marketing order flow to buy-side clients and internal desks across sectors.
Synthesize sector news, earnings catalysts, macro developments, and positioning data for clients.
Generate and distribute high-conviction investment ideas via daily/weekly commentary and client chats.
Build and deepen buy-side relationships across long-only, hedge funds, multi-strategy accounts.
Partner with research and corporate access teams to deliver integrated client service.
Manage risk positions across multiple sectors with discipline and clear communication.
Collaborate on trade booking and break resolution for seamless settlement.
