Job summary

This entry-level role is a training ground for a District Marketing Manager, requiring travel to accounts and events, proficiency with MS Excel and Word, and the Mapper program to support territory goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent certification is required.
• 1–2 years of experience in a similar role; knowledge of Yamaha Outboard and Marine Industry is a plus.
• Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word and sales software.
• Must be able to travel to various accounts, industry events and dealer functions.

Responsibilities

• Provides sales support and status updates to outboard and MRP sales teams for order entry, inventory and shipment tracking, and dealer status paperwork.
• Assist in servicing dealers and maintaining open territories.
• Prepare reports and help forecast dealer needs based on market trends and past sales.
• Maintain dealer lists and reports; coordinate promotional line items and shipping/tracking; support management with information systems.
• Assist with dealer relations and use Mapper program to support territory goals.
• Assist with promotions, meetings, open houses and boat shows; participate in Yamaha Sales and Service Seminars.
