Job summary

Oak View Group in Greensboro is seeking a Competitive Lifeguard to ensure the safety and well-being of pool users, maintain optimal swimming conditions on the pool and deck, and foster a welcoming environment that promotes safety and engagement.

This role requires vigilance during operating hours, with 2-3 lifeguards on duty. The position pays an hourly rate of $16.00-$17.00, with benefits including a 401(k) savings plan and 401(k) matching. The role remains open until November 6, 2026.

Qualifications

• Current lifeguard certifications required: ARC Lifeguard, First Aid, CPR/AED.
• Experience preferred.
• Ability to respond to emergencies and supervise patrons.

Responsibilities

• Maintain constant surveillance of swimming and diving areas to ensure patron safety.
• Recognize and respond to emergencies, administer first aid, CPR as needed.
• Assist swimmers in water and enforce pool rules; support pool operations and maintenance.
• Enforce all aquatic facility policies, rules, and regulations.
• Complete required training and certifications; report unsafe conditions.
• Prepare records and reports; participate in in-service training.
