Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Canine Training Specialist / K9 Officer to deliver K9 services for assigned sites and manage the care, housing, and transportation of a company-owned K9. The role includes maintaining training standards, coordinating training, and tracking expenses and logs.

Applicants will undergo paid training with no prior K9 experience required, and there is national travel as necessary. The position pays $27.58 per hour with a K9 stipend provided.

Qualifications

• Requires High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have valid Driver’s License with clean driving record.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and patrol with K9 at assigned work sites.
• Conduct searches using the K9.
• Maintain K9 training standards and logs.
• Handle administrative tasks and vehicle maintenance records.
• Liaise with clients and senior staff.
• Deliver K9 demonstrations to clients and the public.
• Travel nationally as needed.
• Maintain K9 team certifications.
