Job summary

ProTennisJobs.com is seeking a Director of High Performance Tennis to lead our elite junior program in Stamford, Connecticut. This full-time role oversees curriculum design, training blocks, on-court delivery, staff mentorship, and college-placement planning across sectional, national, and college-bound players.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years directing or coaching at a top junior academy or college program, holds USPTA Elite / PTR High Performance certification, and has a Division I playing

Qualifications

• 5+ years directing or coaching in an elite junior academy or collegiate program with national rankings success.
• Certification from USPTA Elite / PTR High Performance; international equivalence acceptable; USTA High Performance preferred.
• Former Division I collegiate player or professional tour experience (ATP/WTA/ITF) is preferred.
• Exceptional interpersonal and parent-communication skills with organized evaluations and goal-setting.
• Valid US work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and lead the technical, tactical, physical, and mental development curriculum for all squads.
• Direct daily academy drilling, point play, and match-simulation sessions; deliver premium private lessons.
• Advise families on tournament scheduling, rankings progression, and college-recruiting landscape.
• Set energy, standards, and rhythm for coaching staff; lead weekly alignment meetings.
• Coordinate court allocations, seasonal scheduling, evaluation clinics, and player recruitment.
