Job summary

Farm & Forge Club seeks a High Performance Tennis Coach to develop competitive junior and high-performance athletes. You will deliver elite instruction and support overall player development across technical, tactical, physical, and competitive skills.

You will collaborate with strength and conditioning, recovery, education, and other performance professionals to foster a holistic athlete-development environment and help athletes reach their potential.

Qualifications

• Must have demonstrated experience coaching competitive junior, collegiate, professional, or other high-performance tennis players.
• Strong understanding of tennis technique, tactics, match play, and competitive player development.
• Ability to motivate, challenge, and connect with athletes; excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Coach competitive junior and high-performance players through individual, small-group, and group training.
• Provide technical, tactical, and match-play instruction based on individual player needs.
• Help develop individualized goals and areas of focus for athletes; create competitive training environments.
• Provide feedback to help athletes understand and own their development; reinforce preparation and discipline.
• Support player evaluations and ongoing assessment of athlete development; assist with tournaments and events.
• Collaborate with the Tennis team on development plans and training priorities; participate in practices, camps, and evaluations.
• Work with affiliated performance staff to maintain coaching standards and athlete experience; engage with families.
