Job summary

Midtown is seeking a High Performance Tennis Coach to engage members and foster their love of tennis. The coach delivers high quality training for competitive junior players and serves as an ambassador for Junior competitive tennis within the club.

The role requires at least 3 years experience with high-performance players, UTR 10+, strong communication, and current PTR or USPTA certification; travel to domestic tournaments may be required, and compensation is on-court rate plus admin rate.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience with high-performance players.
• Proven ability to coach and develop junior players to competitive levels.
• Excellent communication and engagement with players and parents.
• Current PTR or USPTA certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the HP Manager in planning and delivering High Performance programs.
• Lead energizing, engaging practice sessions and camps.
• Ensure HP program delivery aligns with Midtown brand standards.
• Collaborate with the Racquet Sports Manager on program development.
• Maintain a clean, organized court area and teaching aids.
• Stay member-focused and accessible to players and parents.
• Coach HP pathway groups and generate private/semi-private lessons.
• Teach adult programs when required and work weekends.
• Attend meetings with the HP Manager and coaching team.
• Promote High Performance program regionally and nationally.
• Travel to domestic tournaments as needed.
• Accept other assignments from the HP Manager.
